Translated as morning dew, asatsuyu is named for the mist that drifts through the vineyard at dawn, depositing tiny moisture beads on the berries. These crystal clear water droplets speak to the purity of asatsuyu, the only dry Sauvignon Blanc made by winemaker Heidi Barrett, and Kenzo Estate’s sole white wine offering. The 2017 asatsuyu is a fresh and vibrant example of true Sauvignon Blanc varietal character. An aromatic stunner, aromas of citrus and peach segue to ripe flavors of honeydew melon and guava.
